    Deb,
I grew up in Pueblo West and left about 25years ago. Recently, I heard about the library expansion and was wondering if you would be able to either give me more information on what will be included in the expansion or share some of your information resources with me so I can check it out on my own.

    Thank you

    Deb,
Your blog is a great resource for those of us living in Pueblo West but the addition of the calendar is just genius! I have often been frustrated because I read an article in the newspaper about a great event that I missed – your calendar means we will know about the fun stuff in advance :) Many thanks Deb

    Deb,
I remember that last year you published a great note on having a stocked emergency kit in your car during winter weather. Could you run that info again!?

    Thanks,
    Cheryl

  4. Deb,
Thanks for including me in your great Blog. It is very interesting to read and you do lead an exciting life. I am approaching (on March 22) my 67th birthday and I don’t feel a day over 50. My health is good, so is my wife’s, and my two children, their spouses and our five grandchildren. Just today, I received notice of my high school’s 49th 1960 class reunion in Oklahoma which will be held May 23. In the past 48 years, I have never been back there at a scheduled reunion. We always came back to visit my dad (passed away 1974) and mom (died 1995). But we have not been able to be back there in May ever since. I can remember one time we were there in May in the early 90’s but I missed the reunion.

Yes, we are still looking for a farm for the five grandchildren but we have not found one yet we like except possibly in Kenducky when we went back to visit with my son and daughter-in-law last August. But that is a long way from California

Meanwhile I have many vegetables planted in my garden and most are up. The cucumbers just started coming up today. And my nearly 100 watermelon seedlings are coming up in the seed tray and will be ready to transplant in a couple of weeks. My 300 sweet corn seeds have not come up yet and I will eventually have 1200 seeds in the ground and producing roasting ears for a couple of months, I hope. My 72 tomato plants are growing and will be ready to trellis pretty soon. I started the process today. We have a ton of pink and white grapefruit from two large trees which produce juice for us every day. We just finished the oranges on six trees and still have mandarins and tangerines.

    Have a good day. Phil
